Printing from a Chromebook / ChromeOS Device

One-Time Setup - Chromebook / ChromeOS

 


    • Click/tap the three lines at the top left, then click Open Chrome Web Store.

  • Search for the words "Mobility Print" and scroll to the "Apps" results (not the "Extensions" results)
  • Click on the app name.

 


    • Click the Add to Chrome button.


    • In the dialog box that pops up, select Add App.


    • Tap/Click the Launch App button


    • A green confirmation box will come up saying “You are ready to print!” You can close it.

Printing from the Chrome Browser in ChromeOS

  • Tap/Click the three dots at the top right, and then tap/click Print

  • Under Destination, select See More...

  • From the list of printers, select HOLD-QUEUE and then tap Print

Retrieving Your Print Job

NU's print network lets you use any public printer on campus. You print from your device or one of the public computers, selecting HOLD-QUEUE as the printer. Then go to a printer to release your print job.

  • Tap ID Number on the screen.
  • Then enter your 7-digit ID number without the letter S, such as: 1234567

  • Then tap Print Release to see your print jobs and print them.
