I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

You can change your password by going to:


and entering your PurplePass account in the user@niagara.edu format, where "user" is your account name (for students this is in the s0000000@niagara.edu format, with 0000000 being your student ID number). You will then be prompted to verify your phone number and/or receive a text code or phone call with a code which will allow you to choose a new password. 


Any new password you create will need to be 14 characters long with a capital letter, a number, and a special character such as a ! or a #.  If the password that you create has any part of your name (First or Last), or sequential numbers, the server will automatically reject it.  This will change password for myNU, WebAdvisor, and Canvas.
